Cloud People is one of the Biomorphic Forms, based on nudibranchs. This piece was named Cloud People because it reminds the artist of the cliff dwellers in the SW. As the mist rose off the valley floors in this area, it would reveal the built-in “pueblos” in the valley cliffs. Therefore, it appeared that these people lived in the clouds.
The Biomorphic Series by Michael is an exploration of nudebrachs or sea slugs and the beauty and variety of their forms and colors. Full of color and movement, they will be a focal point for any space.
