Fantasy Tower is part of Sally’s Cross-over Series, where the color patterns are created via kiln-forming, picked up in the hot glass studio, and sculpted into this conical form. The bottom piece is patterned after stratigraphy and made from pattern bars, while the top, which looks like a mudslide in action, is created using a screen melt technique. We are creatures of our past, as visualized here with Sally’s art reflecting her love of geoscience.
