The Idea behind the Circle of Life Series

As we journey down our life paths, we encounter beautiful moments along with obstacles. My journey has had both, and this concept came to me as I was being treated for ovarian cancer and determining what to do with some pieces that we had “outgrown.” These circles are made by slicing some old vase forms.

Each person has many adventures.  Sometimes, the path along the journey has perfect connections; sometimes, they are distorted, and other times, they take a different shape.  Our voyage can be colorful and filled with joy or only have a touch of color to make us want more.  The passage can sometimes be darkened.  But if you are lucky, your tour of life will be a combination of the perfectly & oddly shaped links filled with color that reflects who you are and where you have been.  It will be your journey, your walkabout through your Circles of Life.
