The Tree is part of the Geoscience Series. (Lava mini-series) It is all about letting colors flow and run while hot and then sculpting the piece into the desired form. Each piece has one focus color and some dichroic added to give that sparkle effect. To the artist, making these is similar to watching lava flow, and the temperatures are about the same!
